A few years back I turned 50 and of all the places I thought I would like to to celebrate, Ireland stood out. So Diane and I did our first, but not last, tour of the Emerald Island! It was amazing. We had some great meals, met some wonderful people and saw some beautiful scenery.
And I believe this is the crux of why I'm still a Financial Adviser after 28 years. I work hard to help my clients, my family and friends. And when I can, I love to travel and take pictures.
I strive to have a good work life/family life balance and whether it's playing a little shinny hockey once a week, working in the garden, or taking a weekend trip to Killarney Provincial Park in the Fall, I believe we all need to understand why we do what we do. And I'm hopeful this means I can continue to work and help my clients for many years to come.
I love to travel when I can and I love working with my clients to help them reach their goals and to protect their families along the way. Every day we are reminded that life can be short, and there are many bumps in the road, so get out there and do what you love, while you can. But also, we need to be prepared for the unexpected.
If you have a moment, and want to see a little more of what helps to keep me sane, you may want to click through to a site that I work on from time to time. We all need a hobby to keep us relax. This is mine.
